Welcome to your next golf holiday at Hacienda Riquelme in Spain

Hacienda Riquelme golf resort, is situated in Spain in an area called Murcia. The Golf course was designed by the “Golden Bear” Jack Nicklaus and forms part of the Polaris World Nicklaus golf trail. The area stakes claim to the highest number of sunshine hours in continental Europe, with 300 days of sunshine and an average temperature of 21 deg C . The resort is near the village of Sucina, which is 5 minutes from the apartments and is between the mountains which has been designated a regional area of natural beauty and the sea.

		We have two apartments on this complex which is gated and has 24 hours security patrols for complete peace of mind. Both have their own balconies overlooking the golf course fairways, greens and a large communal pool. They have been furnished to a high standard and equipped with the holiday maker in mind. underground secured parking is allocated beneath the apartment block and a passenger lift is provided from the ground floor. Each apartment has 2 bedrooms with twin beds to accommodate up to 4 people. However, for larger groups or golf societies we have additional apartments on the site which enables us to accommodate up to 16 persons if required. You can relax on the balcony with a cold drink and watch people around the pool or watch the golfers tackling the golf course.

Being a resident of the Hacienda Riquelme you will be entitled to discount off the green fees at this resort and the other courses making up the Nicklaus Golf Trail.

The golf course is an 18 hole, par 72 and  is  a good test of the golfer having many bunkers, dog-legged fairways and beautiful lakes. In addition there is a testing driving and practice area together with a practice putting green.

Golf equipment such as clubs and buggies etc can be hired  or purchased at the golf shop on site.

The coast of Mar Menor with its pretty sandy beaches and palm trees  is approximately 15 mins from the complex. The airport of San Javier (known as Murcia Airport) and  is also 15 min away, and  Alacanti Airport is 45mins away. Hire cars are available from either airport. Cheap flights are flying into Alacanti and Murcia on a daily basis from most of the uk airports.

If golf is not your sport or want a break from it there is plenty to do, there are tennis courts, swimming pools and a sports area on the complex, together with a golfers bar / tapas bar  which does meals/snacks. When not golfing you can sunbathe beside the pool or on the apartment balcony .There is also a free bus connecting the complex to the other golf courses on the Nicklaus Trail where you can dine and use its facilities.

A short drive from the complex is the city of Murcia which is about 15 mins away, it has good shopping facilities and the usual facilities expected of a large town.

There are numerous villages around the area which the visitor can explore or head down to the glorious beaches of the Mar Manor and swim in its warm waters.

If you wish you can have a leisurely cycle around the complex, these can be hired on the site.
Cars can be pre-booked at the airport or a taxi / mini bus can be arranged to pick you up at the airport and take you to the apartment .The apartments can be either accessed by stairs or elevator from the main entrance or the garage basement.
The apartments can be booked for short breaks or extended rental periods with the  rates can be negotiated.
